What’s Coming from Premera in 2026

Get your first look at our individual plans, rates, county footprint, and more.

Our 2026 individual and family plans and rates are now public. To view details for all carriers, visit the OIC announcement. Here’s a preview of what’s coming for Premera next year.

Plans

All 7 Premera individual and family plans are renewing in 2026: Preferred Bronze, Preferred Bronze HSA, Preferred Silver, Preferred Gold, Cascade bronze, Cascade Silver, and Cascade Gold.

We’ll also be offering an additional Premera Cascade Gold plan. This adjustment responds to the OIC’s efforts to stabilize the market in light of the potential expiration of the Enhanced Premium Tax Credits (EPTCs).

Counties

We’re expanding our county footprint for 2026, adding Lincoln. Our Preferred and Cascade plans will be available in 9 counties total: Franklin, Grays Harbor, King, Kitsap, Lincoln, Pacific, Pierce, Spokane, and Yakima.

Rates

We’ve filed for an 18.8% rate increase. This will help cover the rise in anticipated healthcare and claims costs while ensuring members have access to providers and benefits they need.

Rates are not final until approved by the OIC in early September.

Network

Your Premera Preferred and Cascade plan clients will continue to have access to providers in the Premera Individual Signature network. Our network is still one of the largest networks of any individual insurer in Washington state, and includes Kinwell, UW Medicine, Providence, Swedish, Virginia Mason, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and more. Additionally, the Premera Individual Signature network has many behavioral health, alternative care, and specialty providers.

We’ll continue the same 4-tier compensation structure in 2026. Only individual members count toward the tiers, as seen in the table below.
