Two Rx Savings Solutions Campaigns Launch the Week of March 18

Premera Blue Cross partnered with Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS) to help members save money on their prescriptions. This benefit is included in all fully insured, OptiFlex, Individual, and Medicare Advantage plans. Members simply activate their free account on the RxSS portal. They’re alerted by email or direct mail when there’s a savings opportunity on their prescriptions. Members can also compare drug costs.

Member Empowerment Campaign: This 2-series email and direct mail campaign is used as a re-engagement tactic to remind members who haven’t registered with RxSS. Targeting and segmentation will be used to determine who receives a postcard versus email. The first email and the direct mail letter will be sent the week of March 18, 2024. The second email is sent to non-openers of the first email, one week after the first email is sent.

Personalized savings report direct mail: This letter is sent to the top 1-2% of membership with the highest savings. The letter includes details on drug switches, costs, and location to pick up. This letter will mail the week of March 18, 2024.
