New Programs Help Members Save on Their Prescriptions

Medicare Advantage (MA) members have access to two new programs to help save money on prescriptions.

Rx Savings Solutions

Rx Savings Solutions is a simple way for members to lower their out-of-pocket prescription costs.

How it works:

• The member enrolls in the program and receives a full review of their current medications.
• The member receives a notification if a more affordable option is available.
• Rx Savings Solutions connects with the pharmacy and the provider to make the switch to the lower cost alternative.
• The member is contacted by Rx Savings Solutions for approval to make the change.

After the member approves, there is nothing they need to do to switch to the lower cost option. If the member wants to return to the original medication, Rx Savings Solutions handles that for the member.

Rx Partners

Rx Partners is a new drug saving program that works behind-the-scenes to ensure members get the best price for their prescriptions. This includes medications that are excluded from Medicare. Rx Partners is an embedded discount card program that’s seamless to the member. It launches in April for all MA members. There’s nothing they need to do to start saving.

How it works:

• When the member’s pharmacy processes a medication, the discount is automatically
• There are no coupon codes that members need to submit to the pharmacy.
• The retail pharmacy applies the discounted price.
