HMO 101: Looking at food and nutrition differently

Healthy food and nutrition is more about how your own body processes nutrients. Soon we’ll be reaching out to employers and their members about six ways that they can look at food and nutrition in a healthier way. We’re recommending that members:

  • Focus on whole foods
  • Minimize ultra-processed food intake
  • Don’t focus on calories
  • Be aware of ingredients, but do some research before making a judgement
  • Be mindful of what animal products they eat (if they eat any at all)
  • Attend a lifestyle medicine group program at Kinwell Primary Care

We’ll also connect them with select, relevant discounts on Blue365 like virtual training; vitamins and supplements; and sustainable weight loss.
