Materials to help you communicate this change will be available before the end of the year.
State of California Behavioral Health Initiative
The California Department of Children Health Services has selected Brightline as a partner for their Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. Starting January 2024, Brightline will offer free behavioral health coaching for parents, caregivers, and their kids ages 0-12. Parents can access this feature via video session and chat. This new program, called BrightLifeKids, will address common challenges, such as stress, identity, sleep, and more.
Employees can continue to access regular Brightline services through their health plan or employer-sponsored benefit. There is no change to Brightline’s comprehensive pediatric mental health program.
